Job Summary:
Technical Data Analyst uses business intelligence and reporting expertise to build the dashboards and reports our clients and their end users rely on to report investment portfolio information to their own clients. These deliverables range from interactive dashboards to scheduled performance and portfolio reports and ad hoc investment analytics. Additionally, the analyst partners with clients, investment teams, and project management to understand reporting requirements and translate them into accurate, timely deliverables. Supporting data analysis, integration, and quality work underpins this reporting, ensuring the information presented is reliable and aligned with customer and company requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain the BI dashboards and reports our clients and their end users use for investor and portfolio reporting.

  • Produce accurate, timely investment and financial reporting-including performance, portfolio, and ad hoc analytics-tailored to client and end-user needs.

  • Develop data visualizations and self-service BI tools that make complex investment data clear and actionable for clients and their end users.

  • Analyze investment and financial data, delivering insightful reports and commentary on outcomes, trends, and performance drivers.

  • Partner with clients, investment teams, and project management to gather reporting requirements and translate them into client-ready deliverables.

  • Combine data from multiple sources into comprehensive, reconciled datasets that support reliable reporting and analytics.

  • Build and maintain the data systems and pipelines that feed BI and reporting solutions.

  • Continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and reliability to uphold the highest standards.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

  • Strong understanding of financial and investment reporting concepts, performance metrics, and portfolio analytics.

  • Experience designing and automating reporting dashboards and recurring report production.

  • Deep understanding of investment data.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
