Taking directions from the Director of Data & Analytics the Data Analyst is responsible for creating connections, collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various casino operations to assist in generating actionable insights, optimizing operations, strategies and investment, and drive revenue growth.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Collect, clean, and process data from multiple internal and external sources utilizing Azure Databricks pipelines.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain data catalogs and dashboards, visualizations, and reports for various business functions.
  • Analyze player behavior and gaming data to support loyalty, marketing, and retention strategies.
  • Predict player churn, support customer segmentation, and drive revenue optimization.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for casino operations.
  • Analyze workforce data to optimize scheduling, assess trends, and improve retention.
  • Leverage BI tools and data platforms for automation, reporting, and real-time insights.
  • Apply advanced analytics and machine learning to support AI/BI-driven decision-making.
  • Ensures the integrity of files, records, data and property are safeguarded at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining department records and filing system for all projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Two to four years of experience in data analysis, preferably in gaming, marketing or hospitality.
  • Proficiency in database applications or business intelligence tools Azure Databricks, ADF, SQL and Python preferred
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have experience working with large datasets and data visualization techniques.
  • Must possess excellent communication, organization and written skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on the needs of programs and projects.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
