Position Overview:

As a Business Data Analyst on our Finance & Analytics team, you will turn data into clear, reliable insights that support decision-making across the organization. Working with business-line stakeholders and leadership, you will build and maintain dashboards, conduct thorough analyses, and deliver dependable reporting that the organization can trust.

This is a hands-on role geared well for a motivated and self-sufficient analyst. You will often be provided opportunities to fully own your projects and outputs end-to-end: from understanding the business question through data gathering, analysis, and delivery. Successful candidates are curious, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage their own work in a collaborative environment with exciting growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly support business-line leaders to answer critical business, financial, and operational questions.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance business intelligence dashboards and recurring reporting outputs that stakeholders can rely on.
  • Query, gather, and prepare data from multiple source systems and platforms when necessary.
  • Support varying ad hoc and one-off data requests from across the organization made to the team.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of your reporting and analytical outputs.
  • Identify and help improve existing manual or inefficient reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to support shared analytical goals and priorities.
Qualifications / Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field required.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and preparing data required.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports in a BI tool (Tableau strongly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including strong Excel skills required.
  • Exposure to Python scripting for data work including API calls, data preparation, and analysis preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and/or Databricks is a plus.
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and present it clearly and accurately.
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite without current or future visa sponsorship.
