TheData Analyst (Federal Programs) provides support to homeland security projects and tasks by transforming raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programing languages and visualization software. They apply data mining, data modeling, and machine learning to analyze structured and unstructured information. This role requiresat least 4 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates bring an innovation mindset and have experience and a strong understanding of how to effectively visualize insights.
Arc Aspicio is currently operating in ahybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.
Responsibilities
Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions. They work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions. Their responsibilities include:
  • Extract, manage, and analyze structured and unstructured data for homeland securityrelated projects and tasks
  • Support senior staff in designing and development of logic models, performance measures, and data collection programs
  • Communicate research and analytical findings, verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences
  • Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectations
  • Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
  • Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results

Required Qualifications
  • 4 years of relevant job experience and knowledge of research, quantitative analysis, and visualization software such as Tableau, assessment, and performance measures

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Currently holds or has the ability to obtain security clearance

The projected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $94,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
