Job description

We are seeking a contract engineer or data analyst to complete the implementation of the coating thin film data analysis solution. The system automates coating run data review and disposition decisions, reducing manual engineering effort.
This position will take over day-to-day technical execution of the project. A current subject matter expert will provide training and transition support.

Key Responsibilities
Process Deployment
Execute assigned implementation tasks and track progress against project timelines.
Work with software engineering to troubleshoot custom software.
Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
Data Analysis
Review and analyze historical thin film coating data.
Develop statistical limits (training can be provided).
Review and update measurement methods to ensure future data meets defined requirements.
Data Migration & Validation
Migrate coating recipe files from legacy Excel formats into a standardized template.
Upload migrated data into a SQL database.
Validate data migration using Excel-based tools and macros.
Generate test data and validate results.ย 

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (preferred)
Associate's Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (minimum required)
Required Skills/Experience
1-3 years experience in data management/analysis.
Strong data management and analysis experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, templates, macros, VBA).
Ability to work with structured data and follow defined processes.
