PS Data Analyst
Description -
We are looking for a Data Analyst who applies developed subject matter expertise to solve both common and complex business challenges within established guidelines. This role recommends data-driven solutions, works across diverse datasets, and contributes to impactful decision-making.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, exercises independent judgment within defined policies, and effectively navigates ambiguous or unique situations. This role may act as a team or project lead, guiding activities, supporting decision-making, and validating insights across stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Participates as a member of team of other data science engineers carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
  • Creates plans, data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan.
  • Collaborates with SMEs to develop procedures for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating data for review and feedback.
  • Prepares literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and communicate insights effectively.
  • Foundational knowledge of AI, including the ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.

The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
