North America Pursuit Data Analyst & Business Planner

Description -

Job Summary

This role combines data analytics with business planning support to help drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency. This individual will collect, analyze, interpret, and present data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, while supporting key business processes such as forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.

Working with large datasets, this role applies analytical techniques and tools to extract meaningful insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location

Candidate must sit within the Houston, TX metro area. This role is onsite in Spring TX.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business and operational decision-making
  • Assist in translating analytical findings into business recommendations and reporting outputs
  • Support business planning activities, including forecasting, performance tracking, and KPI reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
  • Use statistical tools and techniques to help identify process gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Apply foundational concepts from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to support analytics initiatives
  • Perform data collection, validation, and analysis following established processes and team guidance
  • Support scenario analysis and modeling to inform planning and business decisions
  • Collaborate with team members on data science and analytics projects, including experiments and validations
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports and dashboards
  • Communicate findings through structured presentations and reports tailored to diverse audiences
  • Support stakeholder engagement by providing updates, maintaining relationships, and delivering standardized reporting
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically has 1-5 years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, business analysis, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field

Salary:

The pay range for this role is $59,350 to $89,600 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
