Job Title: IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager with our client located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Job Description:
  • IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for managing corporate IT Facilities, manufacturing and Infrastructure projects contain structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, DAS, audio visual/collaboration, clinical labs, Voice, physical security, Network Hardware Refreshes, Firewall upgrade, and OS patching.
  • Project Manager will lead high visible projects through the life cycle of a project.
  • We are looking for an experienced individual who can adopt the Project planning and delivery processes, as well as contribute to strategy, roadmap discussions, project execution and delivery of our engagements.
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, set and track schedules, resource management and vendor management skills.
  • Proven experience in a result driven environment. Experience and skills necessary to continuously improve, develop and deliver the initiatives. Demonstrate PMO organizational skills to enhance data integrity and accuracy.
  • Role encompasses collaborating with subject matter experts and IT architects to comprehensively analyze project requirements, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to collect specifications and formulate robust IT infrastructure architectural frameworks and design.
  • The role needs to be performed in unique high energy and multi-cultural work. Self-starter working with minimal guidance.
  • Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Strong proven experience using Project Management Tools (such as Anaplan, Smartsheet), expert in using Office 365 applications.
  • Fluent in working multiple collaboration tools such as Zoom.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT Facilities and Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the standards, processes, and governance.
  • Create, deliver and Manage, project schedule, project scope, budgets, risks, and dependencies across global organizations.
  • Oversee infrastructure initiatives including structured cabling, network upgrades, wireless deployments, compute and storage modernization, and OS patching.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Facilities, Manufacturing, Labs, collaboration rooms, Security, and IT teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive vendor management activities, including RFPs, SOW reviews, BOM/ROM validation, and on-site coordination.
  • Ensure all project documentation-including ROMs, BOMs, design packages, and technical assessments-is reviewed internally and approved by IT stakeholders before business presentation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, status reporting, and executive updates for high-visibility initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to project delivery processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead and facilitate regular Project team meetings, team coordination, action item tracking, record minutes and communicate
  • Plan, coordinate and manage large IT initiatives while anticipating, and mitigating risks
  • Provide meaningful optics and insights using tools like CAD Viewer, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Excel, MS Project, Tableau, Anaplan and PowerPoint and Lucid charts for day-to-day project activities.

Job Qualifications:
  • This onsite role is seeking a candidate with 10+ years of experience managing IT Infrastructure and Facilities projects.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing Low Voltage Cabling, Audio Visual implementations, MDF & IDF design/implementation, Network infrastructure setup and Cell DAS implementation.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies (WAN/LAN/WLAN), structured cabling, AV/collaboration systems, and physical security infrastructure.
  • Experience leading server OS upgrades, patching cycles, hardware refresh programs, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, high-visibility projects across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on consistency, standardization, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Vendor & Budget management
  • Possesses solid communication skills, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced technical environment
  • Proven experience in managing Multiple Large IT Infrastructure & Facilities Projects
  • Solid analytical mindset. Ability to define and build dashboards for executive leadership
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making abilities who can drive projects to completion
  • Proven track record of achieving results through collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced IT Infrastructure, Security and IT Facilities projects
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Engineering or IT
  • Professional certifications: Active PMP is required
