Job Title: Audio Visual Technician (Level I–III)
Locations: Jacksonville, FL / Tampa, FL / O'Fallon, MO / NYC / Irving, TX / Miami, FL / Jersey City, NJ / San Francisco, CA / Rutherford, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and driven Audio Visual (AV) Technicians across Levels I, II, and III to join our dynamic media and conferencing support team. These roles involve supporting and managing onsite multimedia infrastructure, executing live and virtual events, troubleshooting AV systems, and collaborating with internal teams and clients in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. The position level will be determined based on experience, certification, and depth of technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:AV Event Support & Execution
  • Set up, operate, and manage AV equipment for daily meetings, global town halls, IPOs, and broadcast-quality productions

  • Provide flawless execution of video conferences, live streams, webinars, and multi-camera shoots

  • Operate digital audio mixers, PTZ cameras, LED video walls, control systems, and video switchers (e.g., Blackmagic, Tricaster)

  • Manage seamless switching of sources, live graphics, and remote participants in high-visibility events

System Operation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Perform pre-event testing and quality assurance to ensure all AV systems are functional

  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to minimize downtime during events

  • Maintain and repair AV systems at the component level, including DSPs, codecs, control systems, and networked devices

  • Configure AV over IP, Dante networks, and HDBaseT equipment as needed

Programming & Integration (Level II & III)
  • Program and configure AV systems including Q-Sys, Tesira, Extron NAV, AMX NetLinx, and Crestron

  • Work with AV design, integration, and smart building systems, providing technical recommendations and custom solutions

  • Collaborate with IT and networking teams to manage AV system infrastructure and IP-based signal routing

Client Interaction & Support
  • Provide responsive, professional customer service during meetings and live events

  • Educate clients on AV and conferencing capabilities, suggesting best practices and configurations

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure event success


Required Skills & Experience (Level-Dependent):Level I (Entry-Level)
  • 1–4 years of AV experience in corporate or production settings

  • Familiarity with digital mixers (Yamaha, Behringer), PTZ cameras, Zoom/MS Teams

  • Basic troubleshooting and signal flow understanding

  • Dante Level 1 Certification preferred

Level II (Mid-Level)
  • 5+ years of AV production or integration experience

  • Operational experience with Tricaster, Extron, AMX, Q-Sys, and Tesira systems

  • Dante Level 2 Certification

  • AVIXA CTS I or D certification preferred

  • Experience with HDBaseT and AV-over-IP configuration

Level III (Senior Engineer)
  • 6–8+ years in enterprise AV design, engineering, or complex event support

  • Strong knowledge of AV over IP, digital signage, smart building integration

  • Advanced programming/configuration skills in Extron NAV, Q-Sys, Tesira, AMX NetLinx

  • Formal education in Electronics or AV Engineering

  • Dante Level 3 Certification

  • Experience configuring network switches for AV
