We are looking for a Commercial AV Programmer with hands-on experience in Crestron, QSC (Q-SYS), and Shure systems — someone who can not only program and commission systems but also build and troubleshoot racks with precision and pride.
This is a technical, client-facing role that demands a deep understanding of signal flow, programming logic, DSP configuration, and real-world integration challenges.

Key Responsibilities
 • Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron), DSP platforms (QSC Q- SYS), and audio networks (Shure, Dante)
 • Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in commercial environments
 • Read and interpret system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation
 • Collaborate with project managers, system designers, and field technicians
 • Create and adjust user interfaces (touchpanels, scheduling panels, etc.)
 • Ensure systems are deployed according to scope and perform reliably post- installation
 • Maintain clear documentation, update code repositories, and support system updates or revisions
 • Provide client training and support post-install as needed
 • Travel to job sites locally or regionally, often during standard business hours (some flexibility required)

Required Qualifications
 • 3+ years of hands-on commercial AV programming experience
 • Proficiency in Crestron (SIMPL, Studio, or NVX), Q-SYS Designer, and Shure Designer/Audio Ecosystem
 • Strong troubleshooting skills — signal flow, IP networking, control communication, and power systems
 • Familiarity with Dante, AV-over-IP, and commercial-grade networking
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a field deployment team
 • Strong written and verbal communication for both internal documentation and client-facing roles
 • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

 • Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP or equivalent)
 • Build, wire, label, and test professional-grade AV equipment racks
 • QSC Q-SYS Level 1 or higher
 • Shure Integrated Systems Certification
 • AVIXA CTS or CTS-I
 • Dante Certification (Level 1–3)

Ideal Candidate Traits
 • Detail-oriented with clean and consistent coding practices
 • Committed to delivering polished, reliable AV solutions
 • Capable of managing multiple project timelines with minimal supervision
 • Comfortable working in office buildings, educational institutions, houses of worship, and retail/commercial spaces
 • Eager to stay current with evolving AV technologies

What We Offer
 • Competitive compensation package based on experience and certifications
 • Health, dental, and vision insurance
 • Company vehicle or travel reimbursement
 • PTO, holidays, and professional development opportunities
 • A collaborative team culture in a company that values technical excellence
