Hancock Daniel, a nationally recognized health law firm, is hiring a civil litigation Associate Attorney with experience in complex defense work or medical malpractice to join our Medical Malpractice Defense Team in Richmond, Virginia.

What You’ll Do

You'll be trusted with meaningful, hands-on litigation work from the start, including:

  • Case evaluation and strategy development
  • Client interaction and collaboration with experienced partners
  • Engagement with medical experts
  • Pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep
  • Courtroom exposure and growth as a litigator

Who We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Virginia, or ability to waive in
  • 3-10 years of litigation experience (preferably in medical malpractice or civil defense)

  • A commitment to exceptional client service and continuous learning
