Hancock Daniel, a nationally recognized law firm, is hiring a civil litigation Associate Attorney with experience in complex defense work or insurance litigation to join our Litigation Team in Richmond, Virginia.
What You’ll Do
You'll be trusted with meaningful, hands-on litigation work from the start, including:
- Case evaluation and strategy development
- Client interaction and collaboration with experienced partners
- Engagement with experts
- Pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep
- Courtroom exposure and growth as a litigator

Who We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Virginia, or ability to waive in
- 0-3 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills

At the time of posting, the expected hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. An individual’s placement within the range will be determined based on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, training, skills, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
