  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field (required)
  • Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ERP/MES systems, and labor standards software (e.g., MOST, MTM) 
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings to cross functional teams and leadership
  • Self-directed and results oriented with demonstrated ability to operate effectively on the production floor

The Logistics Engineer will analyze, design, and optimize logistics processes, workflows, and systems. This position collaborates cross functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to eliminate waste, reduce costs, improve throughput, and enhance overall plant performance. The ideal candidate brings a foundation in industrial engineering principles and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. 

  • Analyze current logistics processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and waste reduction opportunities 
  • Develop and implement improved processes, workstation layouts, and material flow paths using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies 
  • Manage small to midscale capital projects including equipment installation, line reconfigurations, and facility layout changes
  • Develop business cases and ROI analysis for capital equipment and tooling investments
  • Perform capacity analysis and support production scheduling to meet customer demand and efficiency targets
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze OEE data and drive initiatives to improve availability, performance and quality rates
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and 5S programs on the production floor
  • Track and report KPIs related to productivity, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization
