Job description

Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity solutions. The Cyber Solutions Architect Director will lead the visioning, technical architecture, and implementation of strategic cybersecurity solutions, collaborating with government clients and industry partners to translate complex requirements into actionable cyber solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the visioning, technical architecture, development, and implementation of strategic cybersecurity solutions using various systematic approaches, listening to multiple viewpoints, determining the course of action for addressing complex problems, architecting solutions, authoring original text, and leading consensus-building discussions with colleagues and clients in multiple settings.
• Work closely with government clients and industry partners to define, develop, and oversee the design and implementation of approaches and methods that successfully translate complex functional requirements into cyber solutions.
• Extend knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle, technology parameters such as technical environment and tool constraints, financial parameters such as team resources, and project parameters such as schedules throughout the business capture team.
• Lead the development of intellectual capital related to next–generation cyber opportunities and drive proposal efforts and client discussions that help the team grow into new and adjacent business areas.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 15+ years of experience leading teams across multiple complex federal civilian IT environments as a senior solution architect and technology subject matter expert
• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, configuring, and delivering COTS software in support of enterprise security solutions
• 10+ years of experience in interfacing directly with senior government, including GS–15, CISO, CIO, and technical directors
• 6+ years of experience managing technical integration and solution delivery to federal civilian clients
• 4+ years of experience with IT security operations, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability
• Experience with thought leadership across the technology ecosystem, including a reputation as a luminary in the federal civilian cybersecurity community, and implementing innovative and differentiated cybersecurity solutions leveraging emerging technology, automation and orchestration, AI, ML, quantum, and cloud, and in federal civilian security policy application for large, complex federal organizations
• Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high-quality implementation plans and roadmaps and form partnerships across key players within the technology and federal civilian sectors
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• CISSP Certification
Preferred:
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise
• Ability to clearly define, document, and articulate a vision and strategy to groups of people with varying levels of comprehension
• Ability to proactively build consensus and incorporate feedback from all levels to create a shared vision among a multi–disciplinary team
• Ability to show ownership of patents, intellectual property, or published articles generated due to technology initiatives
• Possession of excellent time management skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
