Become a Business Systems Analysis Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the iEnergy business system, improve customer program delivery, and support regulatory compliance for Energy Efficiency and Income Qualified programs. You'll partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to drive meaningful improvements that impact customers, operational performance, and strategic business objectives.
Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual's regular responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Creates and manages dashboards that provide insights derived from data to inform stakeholders and improve business processes.
  • Provides functional and technical expertise during development, implementation, and testing of IT related projects.
  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and technical support to business operations.
  • Provides and maintains project data for completion of KPIs reports.
  • Performs problem solving through root cause analysis, providing findings and recommendations relating to systems tasks.
  • Participates in all phases of the project development life cycle to ensure the execution is in-line with business objectives and project scope.
  • Identifies business opportunities and revises new methods for efficient business processes.
  • Designs forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap. Manages data requests, analyzes results, and presents findings to leadership.
  • Measures and monitors performance of processes, providing/implementing improvement recommendations.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Seven or more years of experience in information technology development.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Experience in business operations, program administration, business analysis, process improvement, or related functions.
  • Experience analyzing data, reporting, and building dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Experience presenting recommendations to leadership
  • Experience working for a utility or regulated company
  • Experience using Demand Side Management System (DSM or IEnergy)
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Additional Information
  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
