Ophthalmology/Ophthalmic Technician
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $41.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; requires 1-2 Saturday shifts per month on rotation, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This contract Ophthalmic Technician role is based on-site in Beverly Hills, CA, supporting a vision center in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position is classified as a hot-priority opening with a rotating weekend requirement and no scheduling accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and eye function tests, including clinical optics, ocular motility, visual fields, keratometry, topography, A-Scans, and Schirmer test
Required Skills
  • Optos experience required
  • Epic experience required
Education Requirements
  • Ophthalmic Tech diploma from an accredited program required
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
  • License must be active at time of submission - pending licenses are not accepted
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
  • First-time travelers accepted
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Weekend requirement: Yes - 1-2 Saturday shifts per month on rotation (8:00 AM-12:00 PM)
  • Floating requirement: No
  • On-call requirement: No
  • No scheduling requests can be accommodated
