Job description

Cyber Security Researcher

Location: Iselin NJ Onsite: 3 days a week Contract: 6-24 months to perm Interview process: 2 video interviews to hire

The Lead Cyber Security Research Consultant will serve as the team's senior-most subject matter expert on cybersecurity.

  • Act as the primary technical consultant on all aspects of cybersecurity, including threat modeling, risk assessment, secure coding practices, and compliance.
  • Conduct research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and translate this research into actionable requirements for the AI models and solutions.
  • Define and own the data-driven frameworks, like the Cyber Risk Rubric, that our AI models will use to triage and prioritize risks.
  • Work closely with the Lead AI/ML Engineer to design experiments and validate the accuracy and effectiveness of the AI models from a security perspective.
  • Mentor the entire team on cybersecurity concepts and best practices, raising the overall security acumen of the group.
  • Serve as the bridge between the AI development team and the broader cybersecurity organization, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
