Protect Systems That Support Critical University Operations
The University of Kentucky is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to help safeguard enterprise systems, data, and infrastructure across the campus environment.
This position combines security operations, risk management, and technology systems, ensuring that university resources remain secure, resilient, and compliant with evolving standards.
Effective 7/1/2026, this position will report through the Information Technology Services department in Beyond Blue.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and respond to security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of security controls and tools
- Conduct assessments to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen system security and incident response processes
- Analyze and report on threats, trends, and security posture improvements
- Assist with compliance efforts related to policies, standards, and regulations

Minimum Requirements
