Job Summary
As the Wealth Project Manager, this individual will play a pivotal role in spearheading the standardizing of a comprehensive digital Wealth Management ecosystem for a portfolio that spans multiple locations and brands.
Joining our dynamic team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and executing strategic projects that drive the further development and implementation of innovative digital solutions. This role will require strong organizational skills, experience with technology project management, experience with project management software and reporting, and a deep understanding of change management.
In addition, this individual will provide direct leadership over the Project Managers and Project Admins supporting the success of the PMO team overall.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Digital Initiative Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end project planning and execution of a major digital initiative within our Wealth Management portfolio.
  • Define project objectives, scope, requirements, critical path, and success criteria in alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Project Execution Excellence: Ensure seamless project execution throughout its life cycle, adhering to high standards of development, quality, dashboard reporting, and timely delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day project schedule, deliverables, and resources, coordinating with cross-functional teams including executive leadership, technology, legal, compliance, human resources, marketing, and business units.
  • Uphold project budgetary guidelines and timelines with keen attention to detail and an ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Lead and facilitate effective project and stakeholder team working sessions to identify requirements, impacts and resource requirements.
  • Create and deliver professional concise project status reporting with internal and external stakeholders to provide executive dashboard project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
  • Lead project planning and milestone delivery within the project team, ensuring efficient collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop a change management plan across all stakeholder groups after assessing impacts and risks.
  • Agile Methodologies:
  • Apply Agile methodologies to optimize project management processes, fostering adaptability and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence to manage project workflows, track progress, and document key information.
  • Standardization Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize digital processes, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Implement standardized digital solutions to enhance client services and operational effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with digital initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure digital projects comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Continuously collaborate with IT to assess cybersecurity and data privacy concerns.
  • Partner Engagement
  • Work closely with relationship managers and advisors to understand partner expectations for digital solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for personalization and customization in digital offerings to meet unique partner needs.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenditures and resource allocation.
  • Ensure that digital projects are delivered on time and within budget while optimizing resource utilization.

Primary Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software and digital tools.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in the wealth management industry with a focus on digital solutions.
  • Understanding of Registered Investment Advisory, Broker Dealer, investment products, financial planning, and wealth management strategies, particularly in a digital context is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
