Job description

SpyCloud is on a mission to make the internet a safer place by disrupting the criminal underground. SpyCloud's solutions thwart cyberattacks and protect more than 4 billion accounts worldwide. Cybersecurity is an exciting, evolving space, and being at the forefront of the fight to disrupt cybercrime makes SpyCloud a special place to work. If you're driven to align your career with a fantastic mission, look no further!
As the Manager, Content Marketing at SpyCloud, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of content across the buyer journey - from awareness to retention. This role reports to the VP, Brand & Communications and sits at the intersection of storytelling and demand gen, producing content that educates security practitioners, influences buyers, and earns citations from both search engines and AI platforms. You will lead a small but high-output team of content creators working cross-functionally to develop compelling content that resonates with our target audiences.
If you thrive in a fast-moving B2B environment and know how to turn complex technical topics into engaging content that actually moves pipeline, this role is for you. We invite you to join a winning team that protects digital identities and defends against cyber threats on a global scale.
What You'll Do:
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Own the content strategy and monthly roadmap, aligned to product launches, events, and trending topics. Communicate, maintain and enforce an editorial calendar that keeps the team focused and on schedule.
  • Content Creation & Quality: Lead the production of high-quality and engaging content across a variety of formats, including blog posts, web pages, research reports, case studies, infographics, and videos. Uphold the bar for accuracy, voice, and editorial standards.
  • SEO/AEO Optimization: Partner with our in-house team to optimize content for search visibility and AEO to drive site traffic and qualified conversions.
  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that earns SpyCloud recognition as the authoritative voice in identity threat protection.
  • Lead Generation: Develop assets that support lead generation and nurture campaigns in collaboration with the demand gen and product marketing teams.
  • Distribution & Amplification: Plan and execute multi-channel distribution strategies across web, email, and social channels.
  • Audience & Industry Segmentation: Map content to target personas and key verticals, tailoring messaging to specific pain points and buying triggers.
  • Performance & Optimization: Analyze content performance metrics and use data to optimize content strategies and prioritize the highest-impact content.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of content creators and agency partners, fostering a collaborative and high-impact creative culture.
  • Brand Voice Governance: Serve as a steward of SpyCloud's editorial voice and content standards across all channels and contributors.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity content marketing, with strong experience in writing and copy-editing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Track record of building content programs that demonstrably contributed to pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging content.
  • Knowledge of SEO/AEO best practices and content optimization techniques. AirOps experience is a plus.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and analyze content performance.
  • In-depth experience with website content and ability to stage and review web content on Wordpress.
  • Experience managing internal content contributors as well as third-party vendors and freelancers to meet content objectives.
  • Adaptable and proactive mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.

Base Salary Range: $108,000 - $140,000
