Who we’re looking for:

ATS is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative with experience selling IT hardware, software, cloud solutions, and professional services. This is a remote position critical for managing inbound sales opportunities, preparing competitive quotations, supporting government and commercial procurement requests, and developing strong relationships with customers, vendors, and distribution partners.

This role is ideal for someone who is a detail-oriented team player who is curious, coachable enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on meeting deadlines, and has a passion for helping customers find the right technology solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Portal & RFQ Management: Managing customer requests, preparing quotes, tracking and processing daily RFQs while supporting various levels of government contracts.
  • Configuration & Quoting: Configure, quote, and up-sell IT hardware (servers, storage, desktop/laptop), enterprise software, security products, and maintenance services competitively among different customer verticals.
  • Compliance Screening: Ensure all quoted solutions and vendor bills of materials (BOMs) comply with customer requirements, procurement guidelines and regulations.
  • Vendor & Channel Coordination: Coordinate with key OEM and distributor contacts to secure competitively priced solutions by utilizing vendor/OEM account manager relationships and deal registrations.
  • Account Execution: Manage daily run-rate business, maintain clean customer and opportunity records in the CRM, and meet strict SLA quote turnaround windows (24–48 hours) to support purchasing cycles and end of fiscal year buying surges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of account management or inside sales experience, preferably supporting different types of government accounts and contract vehicles.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement workflows and guidelines, and client ordering requirements.
  • Solid understanding of the IT reseller market, distributor tools, and hardware/software configuration workflows.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (i.e. ConnectWise) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level organization within a fast-paced environment, to include the ability to respond to multiple procurement opportunities within limited timeframes and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting State, Local Government, Education (SLED) or Federal procurement process is preferred.
  • Experience working with IT distributors and OEM partner portals.
  • Familiarity with technology manufacturers such as Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or similar vendors.
