Job description

We Are:

Accenture Security is a world-leading provider of end-to-end cybersecurity services - from strategy and risk to digital identity, cyber defense, and response. As part of one of the world's largest professional services firms, our security practice combines deep domain expertise, global scale, and a strong internal network to help the world's most complex organizations prepare for, withstand, and recover from significant cyber events.

Our Cyber Resilience, Response, & Recovery (CRRR) practice is at the forefront of the incident response and readiness market across North America. We work with leading enterprises and institutions to build resilience through IR retainers, tabletop exercises, breach simulation, and recovery planning - and we complement Accenture's broader managed security capabilities, including MxDR and SOC services.

You Are:

A seasoned cybersecurity sales leader with a proven track record driving revenue growth in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments. You understand the cyber incident response and readiness market inside and out - from retainer structures and tabletop exercises to breach simulation and recovery planning. You are equally comfortable engaging CISOs in a boardroom and navigating Accenture's internal sales platforms to manage a high-velocity pipeline.

You thrive in a matrixed organization, building relationships across account teams, industry leads, and alliance partners to develop and close opportunities. You bring discipline to pipeline management and forecasting, and you communicate with clarity to both technical and executive audiences.

The Work:

Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Own and manage the Cyber Readiness, Recovery & Response sales pipeline across NA (US, Canada, and LATAM), with direct accountability for revenue targets and forecast accuracy
  • Lead and coordinate RFP responses, working with capability teams, solution architects, pricing, and legal to develop competitive proposals
  • Manage the full opportunity lifecycle from qualification through close, ensuring appropriate resources are engaged at each stage
  • Utilize Accenture's internal sales platforms - MMP, MMS, and MME - to track opportunities, manage pipeline health, and provide timely reporting to practice leadership

Internal Networking & Opportunity Development

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with Accenture Security MDs, account executives, industry leads, and alliance teams across NA to identify and co-develop sales opportunities
  • Engage regularly with Accenture's internal security community to stay current on portfolio developments, active pursuits, and areas where Readiness, Recovery & Response services can complement existing client engagements
  • Understand how Cyber Readiness, Recovery & Response services support and extend Accenture's managed security offerings - including MxDR and related capabilities - and communicate that value clearly in client and internal conversations
  • Participate in internal practice forums, pipeline reviews, and strategic planning sessions to represent the Readiness, Recovery & Response offering

Client Engagement

  • Engage senior client stakeholders - including CISOs, CIOs, and risk executives - to understand their cyber readiness posture and present relevant Accenture solutions
  • Develop and deliver clear, accurate proposals and presentations that align Accenture's Readiness, Recovery & Response capabilities to client risk priorities and business requirements
  • Work with delivery leads and subject matter experts to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable within agreed commercial parameters
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape across NA markets to appropriately position Accenture's offerings during pursuits

Market Coverage & Reporting

  • Maintain consistent coverage across the US, Canada, and LATAM markets, adapting approach to reflect regional differences in regulatory environment, client maturity, and buying behavior
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast updates to practice leadership, escalating risks or resource needs in a timely manner
  • Support the development of NA go-to-market plans in coordination with practice and geographic leadership

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's What You Need:

At least 8 years of demonstrated experience in:

Sales

  • Enterprise sales with a demonstrated track record in cybersecurity services including incident response, readiness, or security consulting

  • Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in multi-stakeholder enterprise environments

  • Leading RFP responses and managing complex commercial negotiations through to close

  • Proficiency with enterprise CRM and pipeline management platforms

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of the cyber incident response and readiness market, including IR retainers, tabletop exercises, breach simulation, and recovery planning services

  • Working knowledge of how readiness services relate to and complement managed security capabilities such as MxDR, MDR, and SOC services

  • Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance factors shaping cybersecurity investment across NA markets

  • Awareness of other Accenture Security capabilities - including identity, cloud security, OT security, and threat intelligence - sufficient to recognize cross-sell and teaming opportunities

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to build and sustain productive working relationships across a large, matrixed organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to both technical and executive audiences

  • Organized and disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity documentation

  • Capable of managing multiple active pursuits simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness

  • Multilingual capability is an asset, particularly Spanish or Portuguese for LATAM market coverage

Bonus Points If:

  • You have team lead or practice management experience

  • You have external client-facing consulting experience in a Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm

  • You hold relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)

  • You have experience selling or delivering within Accenture's managed security or MxDR ecosystem
