Job description

Amentum is seeking a Pillar Point Air Force Station Site Supervisor for the Space Force Range Contract Typical Duties * Supervise TLM, CT, Radar personnel and provide systems administrator/cybersecurity oversight. * Work Closely with Department Leads to oversee operations and maintenance of telemetry, radar, and command destruct mission equipment. * Prepare and provide progress, status reports, and briefings as required or requested, to inform management of anticipated performance problems or issues * Provide user desk-side support which includes but is not limited to: * Software application installs * Hardware imaging and installations * Delivery/relocation and setup of computer system equipment * On-site troubleshooting for hardware and software related issues * Map users' client machines to Network Printers * Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable LISC Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Contract Deliverable (CDRL) requirements * Ability to work with different personality types and resolve conflicts to ensure the mission is properly supported. * Ensure all personnel are properly trained to execute their responsibilities and receive initial and recurring guidance, instructions, and direction needed to ensure quality and timely service * Provide coaching and mentoring to personnel unable to meet Amentum standards for ethics, technical quality, customer service, or timeliness * Maintain an open channel of communication between the Departments on-site, with Vandenberg counterparts and Upper management * Manage and administer the site's various systems. * Monitor System activity on Telemetry Equipment and work with the Cybersecurity team to properly administer all systems. Work with technicians to resolve minor IT related issues. * Work with Cybersecurity Team to ensure only authorized electronics are allowed on-site. * Manage Cyber Access Management Plan folders and ensure all users are following electronic access regulations. * Ensure all Classified Processing Checklists follow Cybersecurity rules and regulations. * Coordinate with Vandenberg Physical Security Team to ensure the site remains in compliance with all physical security requirements * Support Audits and Inspections as they occur on-site. Minimum Requirements * Management, IT, Cybersecurity * Associate's degree or two-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Management Experience Preferred * Currently possess or be able to obtain, within (6) months, CompTIA's Security+ certification, preferred. * Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat to resolve system issues * Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds * Ability to develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable LISC Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Contract Deliverable (CDRL) requirements * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook); Familiarity with MS Project, preferred * Western Range operations and maintenance experience preferred * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Salary and Other Compensation The annual starting salary for this position is between $115,000-$135,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for bonus or long-term incentive compensation awards.
