Job Description

Egis is currently seeking candidates for the position of Sales Account Manager. Candidates should have a successful track record of finding, closing and maintaining Infrastructure, Security and Managed Services opportunities with clients in the greater Houston metro area. Relationships with C-Level executives and understanding of budgeting cycles are critical. We are looking for someone who enjoys prospecting new clients and is an expert closer.

Qualifications

Personally undertaking and leading the entire sales cycle including cold calling, networking and managing referrals through the stages of requirements, presentations, and closing the deal. This may include, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Develop new clients while expanding opportunities with existing clients
  • Work with managers to develop Statements of Work
  • Track record in meeting and exceeding sales quota
  • Access to and the ability to influence key business and technology decision-makers
  • Working closely and in collaboration with Hiring Managers, Recruiting Partners, and the End-Client to keep them informed of progress and development on current and future projects
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the growth of our services within the account

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-10 years of experience selling managed services and consulting
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to communicate at the C-Level across industries
  • Experience selling solutions in the Houston area
  • Existing book of contacts with a proven ability to manage a sale towards a successful commercial and contractual conclusion
  • Experience selling our partner technologies and solutions
  • The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A real hunger and passion for new business sales
