Job description

Overview
Support affordable housing energy retrofit projects. Focus on field commissioning of HVAC and electrification systems (heat pumps, etc.) from construction through occupancy.
Responsibilities
  • Perform site visits to verify installation and performance
  • Witness equipment startup + functional testing
  • Review commissioning plans, submittals, and reports
  • Lead coordination with contractors, engineers, and owners
  • Support system turnover, training, and closeout documentation
Requirements
  • 2+ years building systems commissioning (HVAC required)
  • Experience with heat pumps/electrification preferred
  • Ability to work in the field + travel across NY
  • Experience with multifamily or retrofit projects is a plus

Certs (preferred): CxA, CEM, or PE
