Job description

FST Technical Services Commissioning (Cx) division is one of the leading Cx firms in the country. We partner with clients for quality assurance in the design, construction, and post-acceptance phases of building projects. We ensure that equipment in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems are designed, installed, and functionally tested to meet the clients requirements and design intent.
 As a Tridium/Niagara Senior Controls Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced building automation systems utilizing Tridium Niagara Framework. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs, develop customized solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing and new infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of buildings into smart, connected spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Design review of Tridium Niagara-based control systems for various building applications, including HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Program and configure Tridium Niagara controllers, supervisory devices, and graphical user interfaces to meet owner objectives.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation to clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in building automation and control systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Solid understanding of building automation concepts, protocols, and standards (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Tridium Niagara Framework, including Niagara AX and Niagara 4 platforms.
  • Experience with Niagara development tools (Niagara Workbench, Niagara Supervisor, Niagara Web Supervisor).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C+.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
