Position Summary

CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutionsleverageCVS's in-store and online data, extensive reach, andto providemeasurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service;these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.

As the Onsite Product Manager, you willpartnerwith the O&O (Owned and Operated) team to drive the development, execution, and continuous optimization of onsite display and sponsored advertising experiences, including Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. This role is critical to expanding CMX's onsite monetization capabilities, improving ad relevance and performance, and driving measurable outcomes for advertisers. You will work closely with engineering, ad operations, sales, and data science to build scalable, high-impact solutions across CMX's onsite surfaces.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Contribute to and help evolve the onsite advertising product roadmap, including display and sponsored formats (Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands), with a focus on performance and scalability
  • Support the development and optimization of onsite inventory strategy, including placement design, ad formats, and monetization approaches across key surfaces
  • Act as a supporting subject matter resource for onsite ad serving and platform capabilities,leveragingworking knowledge of GAM (ad units, key-values, targeting, yield optimization)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve platform performance and scalability, including trafficking workflows, targeting capabilities, and reporting accuracy
  • Assistin advancing auction dynamics, ranking logic, and ad relevance, including integration across search and browse experiences
  • Deploying interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker, and Power BI to track performance metrics and KPIs; defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for engagement andmonetization, andcreating benchmarks against industry standards.
  • Utilizingdata analysis tools and languages including Excel, SQL, R and Python, and data visualization tools including Tableau,Lookerand Power BI.
  • Leverage data and measurement insights to support product decisions, including experimentation, performance analysis, and attribution alignment.

Location: This role can be based remotely in the U.S. or near one of our Corporate Hubs.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience within digital advertising, retail media, or AdTech, including hands-on experience with onsite advertising products, includingDisplay,SponsoredProductsand/or Sponsored Brands. Experienceworking cross-functionally with Ad Ops, Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Experience with working knowledge of GAM, including inventory structure, key-values, targeting, and trafficking workflows
  • Experience utilizing data analysis tools and languages including Excel, SQL, R and Python, and data visualization tools including Tableau,Lookerand Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienceworking with retail media networks and understanding of onsite monetization strategies
  • Familiaritywith auction-based systems, relevance/ranking logic, and performance optimization
  • Stronganalytical skills with experience using performance metrics to guide product decisions
  • Leverage data and measurement insights to support product decisions, including experimentation, performance analysis, and attribution alignment.
  • Agility & Self-Starter:Demonstratedability to adapt swiftly to evolving priorities and challenges. Proactive inidentifyingand driving projects forward independently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Demonstratedability to work collaboratively across departments, resolve complex conflicts, and lead cross-functional projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Customer Focus:Passionate about understanding user behavior, advertiser needs, and trends in digital advertising to deliver a product that meets both client and consumer expectations.
  • Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies is highly desirable.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
