Job description

DATAMARK is seeking detail-oriented Logistics Clerks to support back-office operations related to logistics, transportation, and customs documentation processes. This role is ideal for individuals with strong data entry skills who are comfortable reviewing shipping documents, invoices, manifests, and order information while ensuring accuracy across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate enjoys computer-based work, has excellent attention to detail, and understands the importance of accurate documentation in the movement of goods across borders. Experience with customs, logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight, invoicing, or billing processes is highly preferred; however, we are primarily seeking candidates with strong data entry skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to learn process-driven workflows.

This position requires accuracy, critical thinking, and the ability to navigate between multiple systems and screens throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process logistics, shipping, customs, and transportation documentation
  • Accurately enter and update information in multiple database systems
  • Validate shipment information, invoices, manifests, orders, and supporting documents
  • Review tariff classifications, product information, and shipment records according to established guidelines
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
  • Verify data accuracy and completeness before processing transactions
  • Work efficiently across multiple applications, screens, and dual-monitor environments
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards while handling repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
  • Follow established procedures, client requirements, and compliance guidelines
  • Perform research and document review to ensure information is processed correctly

Requirements

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, computer-based environment.

  • Previous experience in logistics, customs, freight, or shipping
  • Familiarity with shipping documents, manifests, purchase orders, invoices, tariff codes, or customs-related documentation is a plus
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills
  • Comfortable working with dual monitors and multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Ability to review detailed information and identify errors or inconsistencies
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow written procedures and meet productivity goals
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
