Job Description:

The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking a Program Manager to join our Orange, VA office. This position will support the D5 LE FBM program. The Program Manager will assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management. Drives program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing program. Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas working with a program lead or manager to achieve results.

Essential Functions:

      Responsible for management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program.

      Manages and directs assigned program, which includes defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris policies.

      Assures through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to  performing organizations and outside suppliers.

      Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization.

      Responsible for effectively briefing internal and external customers during Program Management Reviews.

      Responsible for effectively communicate with the Integrated Program Team which functions include engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, test, production support, procurement, contracts and finance.

      Up to 25% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites.

      Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

      Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

      Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.

      Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) is a plus.

      Demonstrated leadership.

      Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices.

      Experience with DoD contract execution. Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia is $80,500-$149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
