Who You Will Be Working With

As our Client Strategy Senior Director, you'll play a central role in shaping and executing impactful strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients while leading an inclusive, dynamic team of leads and supervisors. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients, designing comprehensive media strategies that align with their business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth within your team. With a deep understanding of client goals and a commitment to continuous improvement, you'll build and nurture strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders to drive effective collaboration, remove barriers to success, and support lasting partnerships. You'll also oversee high-level communications and strategic planning efforts, ensuring that all initiatives align with and exceed performance goals.

What You Will Do

  • Set the long-term strategic vision across a portfolio of customers, aligning PMG's capabilities and integrated media strategies with customer growth goals, brand priorities, transformation needs, and evolving market conditions.
  • Serve as a trusted executive advisor to senior and C-suite customer stakeholders, translating business challenges, market trends, customer data, and strategic insights into actionable media and business opportunities.
  • Own and elevate the strategic planning process across the portfolio, ensuring teams develop integrated, full-funnel, insight-driven, and measurable solutions while encouraging channel-agnostic, idea-led thinking.
  • Guide cross-functional leadership across media, creative, analytics, strategy, and technology, creating strategic clarity, challenging teams to raise the quality of their thinking, and ensuring end-to-end accountability from strategy through execution and measurement.
  • Lead the development of enterprise-level measurement frameworks and learning agendas, incorporating advanced analytics such as MMM, incrementality, and attribution to connect marketing performance with business outcomes and inform future investment decisions.
  • Guide teams in leveraging advanced planning capabilities-including scenario planning, forecasting models, audience segmentation, data-driven planning tools, and third-party technologies-to improve the precision and sophistication of customer strategies.
  • Champion the adoption and application of AI, automation, and emerging technologies across customer strategy and media planning, using these capabilities to improve efficiency, deepen strategic thinking, elevate work quality, and enable faster, more informed decision-making.
  • Lead portfolio-wide innovation by identifying, piloting, and scaling emerging platforms, AI capabilities, technologies, and new partnership models that create measurable customer impact.
  • Translate customer insights, market intelligence, performance data, and emerging trends into proactive executive recommendations that shape customer priorities, influence decision-making, and identify future growth opportunities.
  • Own portfolio-level financial performance and investment planning, including forecasting, profitability, revenue growth, resourcing, and media investment strategy in partnership with Customer Ops, Finance, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Identify and operationalize whitespace and growth opportunities across new audiences, channels, services, platforms, markets, and commercial models, expanding PMG's role from executional partner to indispensable strategic business advisor.
  • Champion operational excellence across customer engagements by establishing scalable structures, consistent workflows, clear accountability, and rigorous standards for strategic and media deliverables.
  • Shape strategic partnerships with media and technology platforms to unlock new capabilities, data, innovation, and customer growth opportunities.
  • Develop senior leaders and cross-functional talent, designing effective team structures, strengthening strategic capabilities, and building leadership pipelines that support future customer and organizational growth.
  • Lead through complex, high-stakes customer and organizational challenges with sound judgment and composure, aligning executive stakeholders while protecting relationships, delivery quality, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with PMG executive leadership on business development, capability development, organizational growth, thought leadership, and strategic initiatives that extend beyond individual customer engagements.
  • Model a culture of innovation, continuous learning, customer focus, and operational excellence, demonstrating PMG leadership expectations and values at scale.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years in digital marketing, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, with strong skills in mentoring, training, and guiding team members to achieve their potential.
  • A collaborative approach to aligning cross-functional teams and driving impactful strategies.
