Role Description

The Task Force Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX but with travel to San Antonio and Beaumont, , responsible for supporting hotel operations during transitions, openings, staff shortages and performance improvement initiatives. This role leads property teams in day-to-day functions such as front office operations, housekeeping oversight, and guest service coordination to ensure brand standards and operational excellence are consistently met. The Task Force Manager analyzes property performance, assists with revenue and cost control strategies, and implements best practices aligned with Natson Hotel Groupโ€™s operational guidelines. This position collaborates closely with corporate leadership, property management, and brand representatives to drive service quality, guest satisfaction, and staff engagement. The Task Force Manager also plays a key role in training on-site teams, stabilizing operations, and preparing properties for long-term success once permanent leadership is in place.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in hotel operations management, economy segement
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, coach, and motivate diverse on-site teams during periods of change.
  • Proficiency in analyzing operational and financial performance metrics and implementing action plans to improve results.
  • Excellent guest service orientation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff, guests, and brand partners.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Knowledge of standard hotel systems (PMS, POS, revenue management tools) and brand standards; multi-brand experience is a plus.
  • Experience in training and developing hotel staff, including setting expectations, monitoring performance, and supporting growth
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
