Job description

Adecco is hiring immediately for Customer Service Representatives at United Healthcare in San Juan, PR. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading healthcare company through a reputable staffing partner.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting members and providers by delivering clear, compassionate, and efficient service in a dynamic call center environment. Your responsibilities will include providing phone support to address member or provider inquiries, understanding their needs through active listening, and accurately documenting details in computer systems. You will research complex issues across multiple databases, collaborate with support resources, and escalate problems as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Additionally, you may assist customers in navigating UnitedHealth Group’s websites, encouraging self-sufficiency, and contacting care providers to facilitate appointment scheduling or connect customers with internal specialists.

This role offers a starting pay of $13.00 - $13.50 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for overtime and career growth.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Prior healthcare experience preferred

  • Data entry experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of medical or health insurance terminology preferred

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in problem-solving and client interaction OR 1 year of office experience using telephone and computer

  • Proficiency in Windows PC navigation and working with multiple systems

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
