Job description

Broadway Rental Cars, a Hertz Licensee, is a proud family-owned rental car company committed to delivering reliable vehicles and exceptional customer service. We combine the strength of a global brand with the personalized care of a local business. We are seeking sales-minded individuals with great customer service skills to join our car rental team as a Customer Service Rep Agent! Starting pay of $18/hour PLUS COMMISSION!

As a Customer Service Rep Agent you will consult with customers on their Hertz rental. Maximizing revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services and overcoming customer objections. Ensures that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support.

We are hiring one rotating closing-shift position between our Green Bay and Appleton locations.

Rotating Schedule

Week 1

  • Friday: Appleton | 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

  • Saturday–Sunday: Green Bay | 3:30 PM–11:30 PM

Week 2

  • Saturday–Sunday: Green Bay | 3:30 PM–11:30 PM

  • Monday: Appleton | 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

The schedule rotates every week, with Saturdays and Sundays in Green Bay and Fridays and Mondays in Appleton.

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to build relationships with customers.

  • This position requires strong multitasking.

  • The ability to upsell and overcome customer objections.

  • Display a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.

What you will do as a Customer Service Agent:

  • Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Effectively listen and identify customer needs so you can provide an exceptional experience for our customers

  • Guide customers through the rental process using empathy, empowerment, and problem-solving skills

  • Clearly communicate and offer vehicle upgrades and additional products and services to enhance the customer’s travel experience

  • Assist customers with vehicle exchanges, returns, future reservations, and any concerns they may have

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to handle and operate a wide variety of vehicles, including trucks up to 24 feet

  • Must be able to perform data entry and computer entry tasks

  • Capacity to learn extensive training material and apply daily on the job

  • Must be physically able to assist our customers at our rental counter, which will include standing for extended periods of time

  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management

  • Ability to use proven sales techniques while consistently providing an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to handle confidential information
