Job description

Swift Creek Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary medical facility located in Raleigh NC. The professional and courteous staff at SCAH seek to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care, and dental care for the highly valued clients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health related educational opportunities for our clients:
Experienced PART TIME Receptionist wanted, around 30 hours a week including Saturdays from 8a-Noon.
We are looking for a bright, reliable, and customer service oriented person to join our team!
This position requires an individual to:
-Record relevant information about animals including weight and types of medications given
-Advise owners of pets about caring for their animals at home
-Have excellent communication skills
-Maintain strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks depending on needs, *ability to multi- task*!
-Maintain good organizational skills
-Receive and place calls to clients using a multi-line phone system
-Have general knowledge of veterinary terms and recommendations
-Schedule patient appointments
-Process client transactions
-Have computer skills to maintain medical records about animals in veterinary software
-Be able to work closing shifts (12p-6p)
-Be able to work Saturdays (8a-12p)
