Job description

Customer Service Assistant

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and helping customers in transporting and unloading groceries to their vehicles. Additionally, you will assist customers in locating merchandise, gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the Store, maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, stock and stage bags, stock check stand supplies, distribute Buddy bucks to registers, replace anti-fatigue mats, do carts and parts basket relocation and power-washing basket relocation for department setup, and perform red basket fill up/retrieval. You will also clean, mop, dust, sweep, vacuum the check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain Store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers and stay attentive to their needs, and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards. Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training is required upon hire. The role involves functioning in a fast-paced retail environment, working with customers, constantly reaching at waist, grasping, frequently standing, walking, and occasionally reaching overhead, at shoulder, at knee, at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. You will also occasionally be exposed to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions. The ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
