Job Description

The IT Engineer IV - Cloud Platform Solutions plays a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise cloud capabilities aligned to business and technology strategy. This role is responsible for leading cloud adoption, establishing standards, and enabling engineering teams through scalable platform solutions.ย 

This position also serves as a technical leader and subject matter expert, providing guidance across cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and platform engineering, while ensuring operational stability and performance.ย

How You'll Spend Your Time

Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture and platform strategy aligned to enterprise goals
Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and/or Azure environments
Drive cloud enablement through reusable infrastructure patterns, templates, and self-service capabilities
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines to support modern DevOps practicesย 
Establish and enforce cloud governance standards, including policy-as-code, security controls, and compliance frameworks
Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to support cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform, rearchitect)ย 
Implement and enhance observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering standards
Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices, including cloud usage analysis and efficiency improvementsย 
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across the organization

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is typically acquired through a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and/or equivalent experience


10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture rolesย 
Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automationย 
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application architecturesย 
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) preferred
