Job description

Job Summary: Planning Team Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing task of processing bid and pricing needs of existing and potential partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creation and management of builder specifications, (direction provided by builder and/or Director of Business Development)
  • Creation and management of builder pricing spreadsheets, (direction provided by builder and/or Director of Business Development)
  • Account manager for builders assigned by Planning Team Manager.
  • Bid submission and Master File management for existing and potential clients.
  • Communicate with drafting as needed for related bid projects.
  • Communicate with sales as needed for related bid/job projects.
  • Management of all publishable documentation related to each builder, (e.g. Customer Reference Documents, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Review of layouts produced by drafting department prior to publishing.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in various office computer programs (spreadsheet, word processing, database, Photoshop, etc.) and be able to pick up new programs quickly.
  • Must become proficient with KMC interface and bid system, (e.g. Launch/Environments)
  • Must become competent in builder blueprint interpretation.
  • Must become competent in KMC layout interpretation, (e.g. Microvellum)
  • Must be able to plan and prioritize work.
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of KMC processes preferred
  • Business degree preferred

Physical/Mental/Essential Functions of the Job:

  1. Sits for several hours or more per day.

  8. Must be capable of communicating effectively with management, coworkers, subordinates, and customers, both over the phone and in person.
  9. Must be mentally alert and capable of remembering faces, names, oral instructions, and details.
  10. Must be alert and able to identify a hazard, should one occur, in order to avoid it, by correcting immediately or reporting immediately as necessary.
  11. Must have transportation and ability to commute from one office to another or to a customer location.
