Job Description

The Customer Quality Resident acts as a first contact for the customer and production sites in case of quality problems and escalations on a daily basis.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains internal & external Customer Portal Management
  • Supports deployment of LEONI quality strategy based on customer requirements
  • Participates in Quality meetings with the customer
  • Supports at customer process audits and production process and product approval (ppa) within an OEM account
  • Supports at customers in problem solving and follow-up of containment & rework actions
  • Supports to organize and follow-up rework/sortings 
  • Supports Supply Chain in case of logistics complaints by customer e.g. transport, packaging, change of sequencing, etc. and proposes solutions such as substitution (rework)
  • Supports model year changes, technical changes and sampling process by OEM customers i.e. organization and follow-up activities
  • Supports the preparation of 8D Report (root-cause analysis and actions) for customers and fills Omnitracker e.g. Complaints portal of LEONI; i.e. start and final closing of complaints
  • Supports the ordering of material for customer repair and own stock
  • Organize meetings with LEONI production plants for follow-up with claims
Qualifications
  • Proficient Spanish
  • Engineering degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven knowledge on Compliant Monitoring/Handling, Failure analysis, Defect measurement, FMEA, Quality assurance, Quality tools and techniques
  • Knowledge on Analysis/Analytical Methods, Presentation skills, 5S, Customer support, customer specific requirements, data analysis, define, measure, analyze, improve and control.
  • Experience in automotive industry, harness makers is a plus.
  • Assertive communication skills, proactive, decision making and service attitude
