Job Description:
Job Title: Associate Customer Service Representative
Location: Houston, TX 77032 - Remote Role
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extensions)
Working Hours: Between 7:00 AM EST and 8:00 PM EST, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Remote Requirement: Candidate must report to any Evoqua branch for in-office training or meetings as needed. Flexibility to travel is preferred.
Position Summary
The Associate Customer Service Representative is an entry-level individual contributor responsible for supporting customer service, order processing, service requests, and related administrative activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, customer service, problem-solving, and data-entry skills.
The successful candidate will respond to customer inquiries, process orders and service requests, manage incoming and outgoing calls, maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal teams, process payments, and ensure timely and accurate service delivery while following established procedures and company standards.
Core Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process customer orders, service requests, and required documentation accurately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls for both internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and fulfill service requests.
  • Enter, update, and maintain service order requests in applicable systems.
  • Provide accurate order confirmations to customers.
  • Follow established company procedures, policies, and departmental processes.
  • Process customer payments and provide proof of payment when required.
  • Provide invoices and generate customer-specific reports upon request.
  • Maintain accurate customer and service information.
  • Ensure adherence to department service standards, productivity goals, and performance metrics.
  • Provide professional and friendly customer support while handling difficult or sensitive situations appropriately.
  • Manage multiple tasks and communication channels while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams.
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
Candidates must meet one of the following:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of customer service or related experience, OR
  • Associate degree with demonstrated capability in a comparable role.

  • At least 1 year of customer service or related experience.

  • Occasional travel for meetings or seminars may be required.
