Job description

The Analyst, Customer Intelligence (Data Management & Analytics) collects demographic, geographic, financial, transactional, and psychological information of the customer database needed to design and define customer's profiles.
Leverages SQL & PowerBI to develop reports needed for the implemented strategies that resulted from the insight discovered as part of the customer intelligence exercise. Maintains and ensures the accuracy of all data and statistical information used on files and reports developed. This position is hybrid and is based in our Oriental Center facility in San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Designs and develops the layout and format of input and/or output files that will make up the customer data platform and all other related applications of the customer intelligence ecosystem.

  • Participates in the process of designing the data structure of the customer 360 view.

  • Provides organized information and/or database to be used in campaigns, sales activities, customer retention initiatives or to improve customer experience.

  • Asses on new database or reports development. Creates and implements the use of the necessary reports to measure, analyze and report results of all initiatives and customer intelligence strategies to management.

  • Monitors and ensures that daily system loads occur without exceptions, incidents or errors, to ensure that there are no interruptions in the execution of active initiatives.

  • Maintains and ensures the accuracy of all financial and statistical information used on files and reports to maintain reliability of the process.

  • Evaluates new tools and functionalities to manage and analyze customer database. Enhances the capabilities of the applications. Searches for new features and capabilities on the customer intelligence tool or new apps that are part of the customer intelligence ecosystem.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, or statistics required.

  • Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, metrics, dashboard creation and/or data related programming ; experience in the banking industry, desirable.

  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

  • Technical experience in data models, data mining & data visualization techniques is required.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically and approach complex challenges with a strategic attitude.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, & interpret high volume data sets with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish to conduct interactions with business leaders, write technical reports, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office as well as advanced Excel & SQL proficiency to retrieve data, create spreadsheets, and reports required. Knowledge in data visualization tools such as Power BI highly desirable.

  • Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
