Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for achieving maximum credit release while vetting orders to ensure they meet the standards set.

• Research and compile credit information on customers to facilitate order release

• Perform credit application and trade reference research to obtain credit evidence from financial institutions and customer vendors

• Carry out thorough credit checks to enable the initiation of sound credit decisions

• Inform internal business partners of progress of credit investigation

• Communicate with customers when other special credit requirements or advance deposits are deemed necessary

• Perform other duties as required

Competencies and skills

• Previous experience in customer interaction

• Alpha and numeric data entry experience

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Solid analytical proficiencies

• Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required

• Must have previous A/R background
