Collection Specialist

Location: Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (On-Site)
Company: Neto Capital
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 9:30AM–5:30PM
Start Date: Immediate / Based on availability
Compensation: Competitive compensation + commission + performance-based bonuses

Position Overview

Neto Capital is a business financing company in Sunny Isles Beach. We're looking for a Collection Specialist to manage past-due and at-risk accounts: calling clients, setting up payment arrangements, tracking missed and failed payments, and keeping every account documented in our CRM. You'll work with Operations, Underwriting, Risk, and Legal on sensitive files, and your work directly affects portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run collection calls on past-due and open balances; negotiate payment arrangements and follow up daily until each account is resolved.
  • Track missed payments, returns, failed payments, and early warning signs of client risk.
  • Document every call, promise to pay, and status change in the CRM; escalate to Risk, Legal, or management when needed.
  • Maintain collections trackers and reports in Excel / Google Sheets.

Requirements

  • 1+ year in Collections, Customer Service, Account Management, Sales, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Assertive and confident on the phone, with the ability to handle objections and difficult conversations professionally.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; CRM experience a strong advantage.
  • Organized, disciplined with follow-up, and discreet with sensitive financial information.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Collections experience in lending, business financing, banking, or financial services, including payment arrangements, delinquent accounts, or recovery.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar; comfortable using AI tools for call summaries and documentation.
  • Spanish is a strong advantage.

Why Join Neto Capital?

  • Direct impact on portfolio performance at a growing FinTech company.
  • Close collaboration with Operations, Risk, Underwriting, Legal, and management.
  • Clear path to grow into Recovery, Portfolio Management, Operations, or Risk roles.
  • Competitive compensation with commission and performance-based bonuses.

Company Description

Neto Capital isn't a bank — and that's the point. We're a South Florida-based fintech company rewriting how small and mid-sized businesses access capital. While traditional lenders bury business owners in paperwork and make them wait weeks for an answer, we move in hours. As a direct funder specializing in Merchant Cash Advances and alternative financing, we combine smart technology with real human decision-making to get businesses funded fast — no middlemen, no runaround.

We're a lean, fast-moving team where things actually happen. Decisions get made in the room, not lost in a chain of approvals. Your ideas won't sit in someone's inbox — if it's good, we run with it. That means real ownership, real growth, and a front-row seat to how a modern lending operation scales.

The fintech space is exploding, and we're building something big in it. If you're looking for a place where you can move fast, level up quickly, and be part of a company on its way up — not just another seat in a corporate machine — Neto Capital is where you want to be.
