Objective:

The Controls Engineer/Technologist 2 leads portions of design and commissioning tasks, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and contribute to maintaining project timelines and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Demonstrates a highly reliable work ethic and consistent dependability.
  • Proficient in the design and development of hardware panels.
  • Applies PLC programming with a strong level of proficiency.
  • Capable of supporting and developing general HMI programming solutions.
  • Possesses proficient knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and drive controllers.
  • Recognized as an expert in PPE requirements and safety practices.

  • Proficient in keeping internal teams aligned with project schedules.

Legacy PLC5 (Any experience in this field is a bonus)

Physical and Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires travel to job sites as needed.
  • The individual must be physically capable of:
  • Climbing a two-story ladder.
  • Walking one mile within 20 minutes.
  • Carrying a laptop while moving across job sites.
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs. without difficulty.
