Controls Specialist -Townson, MD - HVAC Mechanical & Controls Company
POSITION:
  • Controls Specialist
LOCATION:
  • Townson, MD
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer or similar position
  • Program custom applications from scratch or prepackaged libraries
  • Communicate effectively with technicians and PMs in the field
  • Create controls databases from scratch
  • Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet, LON, or LonBus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve any issues within systems
  • Manage programs from start to finish and ensure they cover all requirements
  • Responsible for startups and commissioning on BAS Systems
  • Understanding of creating graphics
  • Acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls
