Job description

We are looking for an experienced Utility Person to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Additional $1.00/hour shift premium paid. You will keep the tankers unloaded, yard clean, and coordinate trucks in and out of the yard. Perform multiple other productions jobs as needed. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Unload tankers as expeditiously as possible, monitoring readings on the panel at all times.
  • Coordinate the delivery of bulk raw materials (sand, cement, and limestone).
  • Maintains production equipment for operation by checking silo levels, panels and transports.
  • Operate front loader as needed
  • Monitor and empty the dust collectors.
  • Run the scrubber and/or sweeper daily.
  • Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
  • Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

About You
We Require:
  • Preferred: Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Front End Loader, Skid Steer
  • Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
  • Experience in a similar position
