Job description

The HRO Domain Consultant will lead solution discovery and deal support for HR Outsourcing opportunities, partnering with Sales, Product, and Delivery to design winning, compliant, and deliverable HRO solutions. This role translates client needs into scope, operating model, implementation approach, and commercial inputs (assumptions, effort, and pricing support) across core HR operations and shared services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Sales and Finance to define commercial assumptions and support pricing inputs (effort, transition/implementation approach, and ongoing run model).
• Coordinate SME contributions across Payroll, HR Operations, Benefits, HRIS, Employee Contact Center, and Analytics as applicable.
• Contribute to reusable presales of assets (service descriptions, templates, case studies, and standard assumptions).
• Design HRO solutions (scope, service catalog, SLAs, governance, KPIs, and escalation model) aligned to client outcomes and internal delivery capabilities.
• Own presales workstreams for RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and presentations; create clear solution narratives and differentiators.
• Support client meetings, solution walkthroughs, and due diligence; respond to clarifications and manage solution-related action items.
• Ensure smooth handoff to Delivery at contract signature, including assumptions of log, solution blueprint, and required artifacts.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in HR operations solutions or HR consulting preferably in support areas of HRO such as talent development, talent management, or learning/skill development. Experience with presales a plus.
• Strong solution design and storytelling skills; able to translate complex operating models into clear client-facing proposals and presentations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence; comfortable leading workshops and collaborating across Sales, Delivery, and SMEs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting large, multi-country or multi-entity HRO deals and complex transitions.
• Knowledge of HR service delivery frameworks (e.g., tiered support, case management, knowledge management) and SLA/KPI design.
• Familiarity with leading HRIS and ecosystem tools (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow HRSD) and HR integrations.
• Experience with RFP management tools, proposal development, and commercial modeling in partnership with Finance.
• Travel up to 25-50% (client meetings/workshops) as needed.
Salary Range: $101,600 - $137,500 a year
