Job description

Role: Domain Operator, Life Sciences.
Location: Remote.
Duration: Contract to hire.
Segment: Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, medtech, CRO).
Level: 5 to 8 years of life sciences operating experience.

About the role:
Genzeon Platforms is hiring a Domain Operator for the provider segment. You bring operating depth from inside a health system or medical group and apply it to how our patient engagement platform is positioned, packaged, sold, and validated in provider accounts. You work alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers, product team, and cloud partner sellers, and you are the person accountable for whether the provider story holds up in front of people who have run these operations themselves.

This is an operator seat, not a traditional product management seat. We are hiring for domain authority first and product craft second.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the provider segment narrative: discovery frameworks, demo scripts, objection handling, and business cases credible to a VP of Patient Access, a CIO, and a revenue cycle director.
  • Enable cloud partner and internal field sellers on provider qualification, use case fit, and handoff criteria.
  • Shape commercial packaging for the provider motion, including cloud marketplace listings, private offers, and what a community hospital buys versus a multi-hospital system.
  • Map actual operational workflows rather than documented ones, and serve as the check on solutions built for the org chart instead of the work.
  • Translate field requirements into prioritized product input, and defend that prioritization with evidence from real accounts.
  • Advise on EHR integration realities across Epic, Cerner, and Meditech environments, including who must approve and how long that takes.
  • Convert production wins into referenceable outcomes and second-department expansion.

First 90 days:
  • Days 1 to 30: Complete the Healthcare Brain Academy Client Engagement curriculum. Review production call recordings and operational data. Participate in at least ten customer or prospect conversations.
  • Days 31 to 60: Rebuild the provider discovery and demo narrative. Deliver your first partner seller enablement session.
  • Days 61 to 90: Own the provider segment in at least three active opportunities and deliver a written point of view on the top two product gaps affecting win rate.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 to 8 years inside a health system, medical group, or RCM organization, in patient access, scheduling, contact center operations, referral management, revenue cycle, or care coordination.
  • Hands-on ownership of a process or workstream: a containment or abandonment metric you were measured on, a registration backlog you helped clear, a scheduling change you drove, or a workflow you redesigned and saw adopted.
  • Fluency in front door operations: registration, insurance verification, eligibility, referral routing, scheduling templates, no show economics, and where patients fall through.
  • Working knowledge of the systems layer, including EHR scheduling and access modules and real time eligibility. You do not need to configure Epic.
  • Working literacy in adjacent ecosystems: why payers deny what they deny and how utilization management decisions land on your staff, and how manufacturer patient support programs interact with your patients.
  • Stakeholder credibility. You have presented to health system leadership, participated in a vendor selection, or led a change effort frontline staff and physicians had to adopt.
  • Strong written communication. Much of this role is a well argued one page memo.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Epic certification, or hands-on Cadence, Prelude, or Referrals experience.
  • Contact center operations background, including containment, deflection, and CSAT measurement.
  • Experience deploying conversational AI or IVR in a health system, including what went wrong.
  • Familiarity with Azure and cloud marketplace transaction models, or experience in a hyperscaler co-sell motion.

Not a fit:
  • Candidates who have sold provider software but never operated inside a health system.
  • Generalist AI product managers intending to learn the domain on the job.

About Genzeon Platforms:
Genzeon Platforms is building the Healthcare Brain, agentic AI decision infrastructure for healthcare.
