Job description

A junior high assistant softball coach assists the head coach in running practices, teaching basic softball skills, and supervising student-athletes. Core Responsibilities
  • Practice and Game Support: Help plan and run daily drills, warm-ups, and game strategies under the head coach's direction.

  • Player Development: Teach fundamental rules, hitting, fielding, and pitching techniques tailored to middle school players.

  • Supervision and Safety: Monitor players during practices, games, locker-room time, and team travel to ensure a safe environment.

  • Equipment Management: Assist with organizing, issuing, collecting, and storing team gear, uniforms, and practice equipment.
