The National Curriculum Consultant plays a critical role in achieving sales growth by delivering highly effective, curriculum-focused pre-sales presentations and consultation across the United States. This role supports the Sales organization through strategic partnership, deep curriculum expertise, and professional engagement with district stakeholders.

This individual is responsible for end-to-end pre-sales support—including customized presentations, pilot management, and conference engagement—while demonstrating advanced product knowledge and instructional expertise across K–12 subject areas.

This role requires significant travel throughout the United States.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the National Curriculum Consultant Manager.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $75,540.00 and $94,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote. Candidates that reside within 50 miles of a major/international airport are highly preferred. Candidates that live within the Midwest, US (OH, MI, IL, IN, MN and WI) and Northeast (NY, MA, NJ, CT, MD, DC, VA) are also highly preferred to support key sales initiatives in these states.

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 50% travel (including overnights), and that would increase to up to approximately 75% travel during peak seasonal periods; so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

Sales & Presentation Execution

  • Develop and deliver highly engaging in-person and virtual pre-sales presentations to prospective and current customers.
  • Create compelling, competitive presentations aligned to customer needs and sales strategy.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals at district meetings, conferences, webinars, and internal events.
  • Adapt presentations in real time based on district goals, instructional gaps, and stakeholder feedback.

Strategic Sales Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Sales representatives to plan, customize, and execute territory-specific sales strategies.
  • Identify customer challenges and align solutions to demonstrate product value and impact
  • Support the full pre-sales cycle, ensuring alignment to customer objectives and maximizing engagement opportunities.

 

Pilot & Implementation Support

  • Lead and manage all aspects of pilot programs, including presentations, training, monitoring, and progress tracking.
  • Provide consultative support to district stakeholders during evaluation and adoption phases.

 

Curriculum & Product Expertise

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of curriculum and instructional practices across K–12 (Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies).
  • Maintain current knowledge of educational trends, pedagogy, and edtech innovations.
  • Experience with K-12 STEM Core products.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital-first curriculum solutions and learning technologies.

 

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner cross-functionally to support sales outcomes and team effectiveness
  • Deliver clear, professional communication to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including district leadership.
  • Develop pre-sales tools, alignment documents, and supporting materials as needed.

Share Your Expertise.

  • Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience and/or education leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience teaching core curriculum.
  • Proven successful experience selling K-12 STEM Core products is required.
  • Bilingual experience preferred.
  • Experience delivering presentations to executive-level and district-level audiences.
  • Advanced presentation skills in both in-person and virtual environments (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of instructional technology, curriculum platforms, and LMS tools.
  • Persuasive communication and executive presence.
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability in dynamic sales environments.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Self-direction, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% during peak seasonal periods, including overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring flexibility and responsiveness.
