The Project Manager, R&D New Product Development is responsible for leading new product development and sustaining projects within the Biopharma Solutions portfolio, including particle counting, centrifugation, and cell health technologies. The incumbent drives project execution through effective planning, risk management, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder communication to ensure project objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager applies project management best practices to monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate project status while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO and organization.

This position reports to the BioPharma Solutions Senior Manager PMO and is part of the R&D PMO locatedinIndianapolis, IN or Loveland, CO and willbeanon-siterole.

In the Project Manager role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product development and sustaining projects within the BioPharma Solutions portfolio, ensuring successful project delivery and product release.
  • Partner with functional leaders to establish project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans while driving alignment across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply the Danaher Business System (DBS) to develop project metrics, utilize Daily Management, monitor project performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to project teams and stakeholders, escalating execution risks as appropriate.
  • Build collaborative relationships across functions to support effective project execution and achievement of project objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Prefer 5+ years of experience in the life sciences, diagnostics, medical device, or related regulated industry.
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience leading complex product development programs from concept through commercialization.
  • Demonstrated experience applying design control processes and product lifecycle management within a regulated environment.
  • Experience utilizing complex program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive cross-functional product development initiatives.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel - up to 15% travel, overnight, within territory or locations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • PMP certification

The annual salary range for this role is $95K-$115K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
