Main Activities and Responsibilities
The Venue Transport Operations team plays a critical role in delivering all transportation services for FIFA World Cup 26™ client groups, including PMAs, Referees, Guests (VIP/VVIP/Legends), Workforce, Media, and other tournament stakeholders.
This evergreen position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of all transport operations across Host Cities, stadiums, hotels, training sites, airports/FBOs, depots, and the International Broadcast Center. This job posting supports multiple Venue Transport & Mobility roles, including:

IBC Transport Venue Coordinator
  • Venue Operations Oversight: Support 24-hour operations across three separate lots with distinct functions, layouts, and traffic flows.
  • Access Control: Enforce VAPP (Vehicle Access & Parking Permit) and access procedures in coordination with Venue Transport Management and Security teams.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with Security, Fleet, Bus Operations, and Venue Management to align all parking and transport activities.
  • Incident Response: Report and resolve operational issues in real time, escalating incidents to the Venue Transport Manager as needed.
  • Volunteer & Staff Coordination: Direct venue transport volunteers and contracted parking staff, ensuring accurate briefings, role clarity, and efficient shift rotations.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, solution-oriented support to FIFA Constituents, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all users of the transport system.

Venue Transport Supervisor - Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate stadium and venue transport operations for FIFA Constituent Groups in collaboration with Stadium Operations teams.
  • Work closely with Security to ensure transport plans align with security requirements and access controls.
  • Liaise with Bus Operations and Fleet teams during live operations to support efficient and reliable transport delivery.
  • Coordinate transport activities with suppliers and contractors across parking, traffic management, and load zone locations.
  • Manage transport information desks and ensure accurate guidance is provided to clients and workforce.
  • Train and supervise volunteers and contractors supporting venue transport operations.
  • Oversee the placement, control, and storage of transport-related furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).

Venue Transport Senior Coordinator - Parking (VAPP) | Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Parking and Permitting Manager in the operational delivery of tournament-wide Vehicle Access & Parking Permits (VAPP), including digital and printed permits.
  • Maintain and manage the VAPP database to ensure accurate data capture, tracking, and reporting throughout the tournament lifecycle.
  • Align stadium parking capacity with allocated VAPP volumes for FIFA Constituent Groups.
  • Manage match-day VAPP PDA (scanner) distribution, collection, charging, and readiness for subsequent matches.
  • Oversee on-site VAPP PDA setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage VAPP parking boards and signage related to car park operations.
  • Ensure compliance with VAPP policies, procedures, and access controls.
  • Support centralized application and distribution processes for printed VAPPs.
  • Operate and support the VAPP help desk, responding to staff and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Implement issue-resolution processes for VAPP-related challenges during live operations.
  • Compile and submit daily VAPP scanning and performance reports.

Training Site Venue Transport Supervisor
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient operations at training sites.
  • Assist the Manager in developing plans and budgets while managing all operational activities for Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Create comprehensive Transport Plans for all FIFA constituents at Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Help develop interim access plans for FIFA Club World Cup Training Sites.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to secure necessary agreements and approvals.
  • Coordinate with Security to ensure transport plans are integrated with security measures at all Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Create walkthroughs, testing, and readiness exercise plans.
  • Support the delivery of transport services for all test events leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Spectator Parking Coordinator
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with analysis of spectator parking inventory and develop parking allocation strategies for select Host Cities.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and stakeholder inputs to finalize spectator parking solutions.
  • Track and manage parking sales performance in collaboration with JustPark.
  • Support the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for spectator parking within the Transport (TPT) department.
  • Liaison with JustPark to ensure operational excellence and develop training programs between JustPark and Stadium staff.
  • Collaborate with internal Functional Areas (FAs) to address spectator parking-related inquiries and requests.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels are developed and maintained during tournament time in Spectator Parking areas at each of the Stadiums.
  • Coordinate integration of spectator parking features and validations into the FWC26 App, working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure the Spectator Parking Customer Service Statement of Work (SOW) is developed and executed effectively by the vendor.
  • During Tournament time, provide operational support from within the Transport Operations Center (TROC).
  • Resolve live issues in coordination with Venue Business Strategy, Venue Transport Managers and Stadium Teams.
  • Manage Point-of-Sale (POS) devices at each stadium to support on-site operations.
  • Assist with nightly reconciliation and settlements in coordination with the Venue Business Strategy team.
  • Support ad-hoc operational needs related to spectator parking logistics, communications, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with all FIFA26 Functional Areas and transport systems to align plans with overall transport proposals.

Your Profile
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Operations, Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in large-scale events, aviation/airport operations, hotel operations, public transport, mobility services, logistics, or fleet/bus management may be accepted in place of formal education.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation systems, event operations, mobility planning, or live operations coordination.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, access management, accreditation systems, or traffic management principles is an asset.
  • Familiarity with large-scale sporting events, tournaments, or multi-venue operations is a plus.

Work Experience
  • Experience working in transport operations, logistics, mobility, event operations, fleet or bus coordination, hotel operations, airport operations, or similar fast-paced service environments.
  • Background in client services, customer support, dispatching, control room operations, or live event coordination is highly beneficial.
  • Experience supervising staff, volunteers, drivers, or operational teams is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive operations, resolve issues under pressure, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Prior involvement in major events (sporting, entertainment, government, convention centers, festivals) strongly preferred.

Languages
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

  • Experience with ticketing, scheduling, dispatching, or CRM-style tools is an advantage.
